Travel Health Insurance
Any traveler should consider getting medical insurance for travel to international destinations. If you already have private health insurance, then you are probably covered within the U.S. for major, unexpected medical costs. However, a typical individual and group health plan will not provide coverage when traveling outside of the country. Travel health insurance is very inexpensive and it provides you with the sense of security you need enjoy your travels alone or with your family. Policies can be quickly quoted and purchased online.
Group Health Insurance Plans
Most Americans receive their health coverage through some type of group health insurance. Although large corporations with hundreds or even thousands of employees have the bargaining power to negotiate with medical insurance companies for custom health plans for their workers, the small business owner must still research options and compare prices from multiple providers. Since small business health insurance offers guaranteed coverage to all employees in a given company, it can be difficult and time consuming for a small business owner to find the best policy. Our resources help cut down on the time it takes to get medical insurance quotes, making the processing quicker and simpler.
Family Health Insurance
Family health insurance is no different than individual health insurance and usually they are sold under the same name. If you are insuring your family, just with yourself, there are some additional considerations to take into account. Even if you have coverage through an employer sponsored health plan to get done, consider the cost-saving benefits of switching to a family medical insurance policy or moving some of your family members from your group policy planning in a family to consider. When adding more people to use to increase the chances of denial, then you should request multiple quotes and be ready to apply to several family health plans.
Individual Health Insurance
If you do not receive health insurance through your employer, you should seek coverage under an individual health insurance plans from many available there. Well as private health insurance, this type of coverage for self and all that is ideal for a variety of options and pricing structures to choose from. After group health plans is the personal health insurance, the most common form of medical care. Unless you are 100% certain of having "full take-over" health insurance on a future date, we recommend that you purchase short-term health Insurance on a month to month basis, rather than for a fixed-single-payment-term.
You may do this by purchasing the insurance for 6 or 12 months, and paying monthly. If you wish to stop the insurance before the end of the 6 or 12 month term, simply stop your monthly payments.
For example, suppose you purchased Short-Term Health Insurance for exactly 60 days by single payment. On the 59th day of your coverage, suppose you fall and suffer injuries that will require ongoing medical treatment for several months. Your Short-Term insurance might cover your initial treatment on the 59th day. At the end of the 60th day however, your insurance coverage ends and all future medical care and treatment after that date would not be covered.

Health Net No Longer Accepting ANY Children For Health Insurance in Arizona
HealthNet, one of the major health insurance companies in Arizona, has recently notified agents that they will no longer accept ANY children, sick or not, on ANY individual or family policy. If you, your spouse and your four healthy children apply to Health Net for a policy, Health Net will NOT accept any of your children. Hopefully, Health Net will end this practice soon, but only time will tell.
Is this what President Obama had in mind when he said it was going to become easier for Americans to get health insurance? Or when he said “children could no longer be denied coverage due to a pre-existing medical condition?” We don’t think so.

Short-term health insurance plans are an option when:
- You're between jobs
- Can not afford COBRA
- Starting a new job etc.
- Are a recent college graduate
- Waiting for employer benefits
- Temporary or seasonal employee
- Waiting for group coverage to start
- Are a temporary or part time worker
- The 12-month Short Term Medical plan is not available in all U.S. states.
- Short term health insurance should not be used as a substitute for standard, long-term health insurance as short-term insurance plans are designed to protect against unforeseen accidents or illnesses, rather than to provide full comprehensive coverage.
- Purchasing a short-term medical insurance plan will make you ineligible for any guaranteed issue individual health plans commonly known as HIPAA Plans. If you wish to maintain your eligibility for HIPAA plans, you should not purchase a short-term health insurance plan.
- Short-term health insurance plans usually do not cover any pre-existing medical conditions you may have and any previous or current health condition or symptom may be considered a pre-existing medical condition that will not be covered under a new plan. Conditions do vary by state, but, in general, short-term health insurance policies exclude coverage for conditions that have been diagnosed or treated within the previous 3 to 5 years.
